DataSum is intended to be useful for statisticians, professors, scientists, students, and applied analysts across many communities. Project discussions should stay respectful, specific, and constructive.

Expected behavior

• Use welcoming and inclusive language.
• Be respectful of different levels of statistical and programming experience.
• Critique ideas, methods, and code without personal attacks.
• Give enough context for others to understand your reasoning.
• Be open to correction when evidence or testing shows a better path.

Unacceptable behavior

• Harassment, insults, or discriminatory language.
• Personal attacks or sustained unconstructive criticism.
• Publishing private information without permission.
• Derailing technical or statistical discussions with unrelated arguments.

Enforcement

Maintainers may edit, hide, or close comments and issues that violate this code of conduct. Repeated or severe violations may lead to blocking from the project.
